LOB 750 mm. This high grade cello is fully blocked and lined. It is very resonant with a clear tone, lots of volume and is in spectacular condition. It has a beautiful Spruce Soundboard and highly flamed Maple back and sides. The carving of the Scroll is very complete. It is Signed, Numbered, Branded on the inside back. It has an Akusticus tailpiece, a New Carbon Fiber End Pin, a Deluxe Aubert Belgian Style Bridge, and a set of Larson strings. Georges Apparut was born in 1877 in Juraincourt, France and died 1948 Mirecourt, France. He is the son and pupil of Léon Apparut. He worked for Paul Blanchard in Lyons 1896-1899, and Leon Mougenot in Brussels 1900-1903. He succeeded to own the business of Charotte at Mirecourt in 1925. He won Gold medals at expositions held in Nancy, Brussels, Metz, Ghent, and Paris. He made his personal model, and copies of particular classical makers. Very well executed and a high degree of finish.
