Lob 357 mm Great resonance and volume, very clear music coming from the beautiful Spruce soundboard and highly flamed Maple back and sides. Giuseppe Giachetti was born 1890 and died in 1980 in Rome. Studied the violin at the Rome Conservatoire. He was a pupil of Rodolfo Fredi for violin making. He worked in Paris from 1920 and subsequently in Montreuil. He fabricated classical models with an oil varnish.
