Marc Laberte, in Mirecourt, made a model called "D. Soriot" about 1910, included it in his 1912 catalog.

FRANÇOIS SORIOT, the father of these makers was born in 1797 and lived until 1848, instruments made in the 1830's to the mid 1840's may be found, depending on where you investigate.

Rare to very rare instrument.
