French Polish. 20 Frets. 5 Fan Braces with a Bridge Strap and Harmonic Bar below the sound hole, no transverse bar above the sound hole. Separate kerfing pieces attaching the top to the sides, and cut kerfing strip attaching the back to the sides.
Ennio became an apprentice of the renowned Enrico Bottelli in 2001 and worked with him for a year and a half. In 2001 he won an award at the Concorso di Liuteria Internazionale di Baveno.
As Ennio Giovanetti says of his career: "I approached the production of classical concert guitars in 1998, after having enrolled in the school of lutherie in Milan with the idea of building something else in mind, thanks to attending some luthier's workshops it became easy that moment I had considered of marginal importance, I was instead getting to know and increasingly appreciating the multiple qualities of timbre and expression, I wanted to learn the basic canons of construction and instead ended up entering a world of infinite borders and wide facets, with these schools of thought and various ideas, from there I started a research that from the historical instruments of Torres, Hauser and Simplicio, have led me to know luthiers of all eras, from the most ancient to contemporary, all this in an attempt to understand in what direction the ideas and insights that have contributed to the development of the instrument as we know it today can be utilized, and how to best apply them in the construction of my guitars ... However, my conclusions cannot be expressed in words, as the only voice that can tell them can only be that of my instruments."
