Juan Montero Aguilera Cordoba, Spain (1929-)

$2,500

657 mm scale 52 mm Nut. Spruce Soundboard and Cypress back and sides. Fustero Gears. 5 Fan Braces, 3 regular size like we have seen in the last 300 Flamenco guitars sold here BUT, 2 very very small braces, we've never seen any thing like this at all before. Inside this guitar it has a solid band connecting the top and back to the sides. This has an old repair, there was a long crack more than 1 foot long repaired on the bass side. This still has a great sound. Local teachers with Masters degrees have endorsed their students to but it.

Photo of Paco De Lucia holding a 1990 Juan Montero Aguilera Flamenco Negra No. 751, Tomatito, Manolo Franco, Vicente Amigo, Juan Serrano, Rafael Riqueni, Paco Cepero and many others all played his guitars at different times in their careers.
