A local Symphony musician played it and said it has an "intimate and uniform sound. It has a Medium to Fine Spruce Soundboard and a One Piece Maple back and Flamed Sides. It has a beautifully Flamed neck and very well cut Scroll. It is fully blocked and lined. It retains its original beautiful Varnish, Pegs, Ebony Nut, Fingerboard and Tailpiece. It has a new Deluxe Aubert bridge. It has a great balance, volume and resonance and has a new set of Dominant strings mounted on it.
