LOB 750 mm. This was made in Mirecourt, France circa 1900, this high grade cello is fully blocked and lined. It is very resonant with a thick tone, lots of volume and is in spectacular condition having been fabricated in a shop where the craftsman had generations of luthiers instructing them since the middle of the 18th century, back in the days when there were only 4 families in Mirecourt, but when this was made well over 1,000 worked everyday in that legendary city. It has a beautiful Spruce Soundboard and highly Flamed Maple back and sides. It retains its Original Oil Varnish and the carving of the Scroll is very complete. It has an Akusticus tailpiece, a New End Pin, a Deluxe Aubert Belgian Style Bridge, and a set of Larson strings.
