Lob 357 mm. Several stamps inside. Redwood used for the linings that cover the corner blocks, which are feathered into the C bouts in a high grade manner. Giacinto was born in 1910 in Santhia, Piedmont, Italy and died in 1956 in Milan Italy. Follower of Euro Peluzzi’s acoustical theories. Classical and personal models. Fine varnish. Much involved in repair and restoration work. Very thick tone produced by this violin.
