Spruce Soundboard and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with Spruce inner liner on the back (Andrea says he's been influenced by Rene Lacote (1785-1871) of Paris in this aspect.) and a Cypress inner liner on the sides, French Polished - including much of the interior. 4 Fan Braces and reinforcing struts in an X-formation. The guitar weighs 1,893 Grams = 65.958 ozs = 4.12 lbs.
This instrument has had two owners, who developed the sound magnificently, I have included a dozen photos at the end of the listing to show the exact condition of the French Polish, I have always been an advocate of not adding French Polish touchup, but letting the customer take it to their luthier, if they so wish to make it look like a teenager instead of the grandmother with the decades of stories that can be told.
Where did the Angels come from?
Since 1985 when he won the first prize in the prestigious international guitar making competition, the “Concours International des Facteurs de Guitare”, he has been considered a very notable luthier. He fabricates about 13 guitars per year.
