665 mm Scale 52 mm Nut. Spruce Soundboard and Cypress back and sides, new gears. Fabricated in Madrid by the Cuban born luthier, Evelio Dominguez. He was born in 1930 and passed away in 2015, Jose Romanillos has documented 1,038 instruments made by this maker until 1998, this is labeled A-312. Original Carved Bone Nut, New Bone Saddle.
7 finely sanded Fan Braces, of which 2 are segmented above and below 2 very small transverse bridge straps separated in the middle and placed at the front and back of the bridge. (Paulino Bernabe had a similar segmented fan bracing system with a single bridge strap.) The top is attached to the sides by small blocks, the back is attached to the sides with a Cedar on the bottom and Spruce on the top solid liners. Signed on the inside of the top and end block.
