648 mm Scale 52 mm Nut. Spruce Soundboard and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. 7 fan braces. Zero Fret, French Polish. Stamped: A Ricci, on the center back stripe. No. 132, written on the Bass upper Soundboard liner. Original Fustero engraved gears.
Adamo Ricci, a fine luthier in Genoa, was a student of Paolo de Barbieri (1889-1962).
His maestro, Paolo de Barbieri, was a student of Cesare Candi (1869-1947).
Adamo Ricci, was a contemporary of two of Candi's other prestigious students who were: Giuseppe Lecchi (1895-1967) and Lorenzo Bellafontana (1906-1979).
These are all renowned legends.
It should be mentioned that Cesare Candi (1869-1947) was a student of Raffaele Fiorini (1828 – 1898) in Bologna.
