650 mm Scale, 52 mm Nut. Fine grain Spruce Soundboard and bookmatched Spanish Cypress back and sides. Original Bone Nut and Saddle. All original French Polish. Deluxe Rosette and binding. 7 finely sanded Fan Braces. and 2 bottom Chevrons, 1,102 grams = 2 lbs. 7 ozs.

Professionally owned by Juan López Álvarez, who was known on stage as: Juanito El Mejorano (1923-1969) and used this guitar in international concerts in Portugal, France, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil as well as recorded in the 1950's on Discos Belter LPs. This guitar has such a rich presence it will work well for both Flamenco and Classical idioms. At the end of the photo montage one can see the LPs showing the guitar offered at our shop.

It wasn't until after WWII, that there became a distinction of the Classical Guitar and the Flamenco Guitar, they were just called Concert Guitars, listen to this video of Asturias, which shows the instrument not to be the raspy version one might expect.
