Vicente Cascant Guitars are quite rare, but have been in the hands of very illustrious players, notably the virtuoso and composer, Francisco Calleja Urquiaga (1891-1950), who owned a guitar fabricated in 1925. This Seven String guitar with 20 frets made in 1925 is now in the hands of Eduardo Baranzano and loaned to Carlos Blanco Ruiz who plays it in this video. It was used in several concerts in Montevideo, Uruguay by Francisco Calleja.
The 1933 Vicente Cascant guitar is under restoration now and will be available for sale in August of 2022. It will sing.
