Last night, Friday, May 8, 1896, we had a nice party in the newsroom of the "El Noticero Sevillano". The eminent guitarist Mr. Tárrega honored us with a concert, of which we will keep fond memories. On a magnificent concert guitar, from the workshop of Soto y Solares, he played the most notable of his repertoire, with the delicacy and perfection that have earned Tárrega an enviable reputation. It goes without saying that each number of the select program was celebrated with enthusiasm, with everyone who heard the eminent guitarist desiring repeated opportunities to applaud and admire him.
