640 mm Scale 49 mm Nut. Spruce and Cherry back and sides. 7 finely sanded fan braces, original nut and frets. Action at the 12th fret: bass and treble 4/32nds. Separate kerfing pieces attaching the top and back to the sides, stamped Julian Gomez Ramirez across the kerfing areas.

According to José Romanillos as well as Francoise and Daniel Sinier de Ridder: Julian Gomez Ramirez was born in 1879, in Madrid, he was listed in directories in 1892 as a guitar maker in Madrid, he was working with Agustin Andrés in 1905 (by 1909 he was signing the labels of this workshop, where he was employed) , he was a journeyman in the Manuel Ramirez shop, working with Enrique Garcia, Antonio Viudes and Rafael Casana. But, by 1908 he was working in Paris, as labels show.

In 1936 Robert Bouchet met Julian and 2 years later purchased a guitar from his shop.

According to René Vannes "Dictionnaire Universel des Luthiers" Julian's nickname was 'The Stradivarius of the Guitar', he passed away in November of 1943.

Ida Presti and Alexandre Lagoya played Julian's guitars.
