This is a 16 1/4" Viola made in San Jose, CA by the late Robert Miller. He passed away in 1987. He also made Cellos that sell for $10,000. He won a Gold Medal award for Tone at the 1978 VSA Convention and Competition. One of his Violins is shown in the Violin Makers of the United States, by Thomas James Wenberg, 1986.
